"Thousands have lived without love, not one without water." An interesting quote that sends the importance of water.
This 22nd of March the IGCA team joined with the world to celebrate water day. Water, the main solvent of the world, was the theme for the morning assemblies that we presented to all senior years. Students from 6th grade to 12th grade noticed the importance that water has for our every day life and we all reflected about the question that some fear of what if tomorrow when you open the tap nothing comes out?
The IGCA came out with a video in which we included interesting facts about water. We also made some research about water's day history:
Since 1993 this day has been part of our calendar , marking 22 March as WORLD WATER Day. This whole idea was developed by the united conference of environment and development in Rio de Janeiro , who´s main aim was to recommend ways to conserve water and to promote its efficiency. The whole aspect of the project is to make people more consciously aware of our main source.
