Our New Metal and Plastic Recycling Bins

Another activity for our environmental strand. This time, with money that was collected on our past campaigns, we bought new recycling bins for plastics and cans which are the most used materials by students in school at break time.
The bins were placed on ten spots throughout the senior section of our school, ten spots which are accessible for students who can easily recycle their water bottle and coke cans. In each spot the bins were placed in pairs, one bin for recycling cans and the other for plastic. As you can see in the pictures each bin can be easily identified.
As a group we decided to spend our money this way because some water bottles and cans were misplaced in the trash cans when they can be recycled. So hope students make the best use of them and save the world's resources by recycling!
