Welcome to the IGCA team 2011-2012!

This year, as in previous years, the IGCA team will be present in school to promote global awareness in many ways throughout the school community. Be a part of this wonderful organization and earn your bronze IGCA award by participating this year. You can contribute in any of the four IGCA strands which are, Understand other cultures and outlooks, Personal Global Footprint, Influence and involvement with others and Recording and reflecting personal change and development. Also take into consideration that your actions in IGCA will be supporting all four strands at some point, your work will not be exclusive to a single strand as the award requires all four. We will be involved in plenty of interesting activities some examples are tree planting, painting murals, recycling activities, campaigns, etc. Please support the IGCA team this year and keep track of this blog for future information on IGCA at the ABC. Tomorrow we will have our first IGCA meeting in room H3 and these meetings will be held all Thursdays with Mr. Arevalo and Mrs. Duarte. Come and join us tomorrow and be a part of the IGCA team!
