Due to the recycling week in November, the IGCA team decided to design, promote and sell a recycling T-shirt to raise funds for activities that the IGCA team will be doing. Buying the T-shirt enabled ABC students and teachers to come on jeans and the recycling t-shirt one day to promote to reuse, reduce and recycle.
The first two activities that the money collected funded were a second turtle release by the IGCA 14-15 team and a banner of recycling by the IGCA 14-15 team. It will also fund a project of VIVAZUL foundation that its purpose is to give water filters to public school classrooms and kitchens.
In total, there were 150 T-shirts sold to the ABC community.
